S.H. Personal Photography

For the love of it

0 notes

I am part of a group of photographers who do a photo-challenge every second week as a fun way to learn from each other and try things we usually might not have. The photos from each challenge get blogged ( http://photographychallenges.wordpress.com/ ) with a little blurb about the photograph and the settings we used.
This was my photo.
“I am not a huge fan of being in front of a camera in general, but the idea of taking a self-portrait where you are revealing yourself through both the front and the back of the lens is even less comfortable. In fact, I initially thought I would try side step it a bit by trying to photograph traits I identified with in other people as a way of doing this project. Eventually though- I decided to embrace the discomfort and photograph that.
This was taken on my Canon 400D with an 18-35mm F3.5-5.6 lens at: ISO 800, F3.5 , 1/50 sec”
If you are a photographer and would like to be part of the photo challenges please join us- if you go to the about page of the blog you will find the contact info.
